Leigh + Chris

We are excited to share this fun Richmond wedding love story. Leigh and Chris met years ago in Richmond playing in an ultimate frisbee league. While they were acquainted, Leigh didn’t see the stars align until a few years later, when she could feel their friendship growing into something more. She boldly swooped in, and asked Chris out one night for tacos at one of her favorite places. The rest is history - and let’s just say neither of them are playing the field any more! Chris, now a Doctor of Pharmacy, loves a good game, and put together a scavenger hunt for Leigh, prior to his proposal shortly thereafter. How sweet!

Theirs was a memorable June reception at Tredegar Iron Works, a gorgeous historic Richmond venue. We truly lucked out with a perfectly dry evening to celebrate under their beautiful starlight canopy throughout the tent from The Lighting Professors. It is hard to forget the night before, the huge thunderstorm with heavy rain, lighting - oh, and quarter sized hail, that swept over the city. But that’s actually good luck, right? The next day was gorgeous, and the tent perfectly untouched by the storm.

From the personalized ceremony and vows, to one of my favorite color palette’s ever, one heck of a first dance, Grandma’s homemade kolacky, and a night ending with local Nightingale ice cream sandwiches (just in time to cool off the dance floor) - Leigh and Chris had the most special day. Cheers to forever, you two!
