Chesley + Trenton

Spring has sprung and “love is in bloom!” This was clear as Trent and Chesley tied the knot this past May at Upper Shirley Vineyards. We loved getting to know these two and their families over the last year, and seeing all the plans roll out in their honor. Chesley, a Richmond native, and Trent from a tiny town in Kansas, invited just under 150 of their closest friends and family to witness them say “I do.”

Our vision in working up this design with the couple centered around “bringing the outside in” and highlighting the dazzling riverside estate with elements of nature, allowing the landscape to take center stage. Enhanced with organic blooms and elegant greenery, we worked with the bride’s choice of a slate and dusty blue palette, and softened it with subtle hints of champagne peach, creating a springtime ambiance. Watercolor details, mercury glass, and silver accents from stationery, to florals and cake tied the look together for a formal celebration not to be forgotten!
