Celebrating the Performing Arts
Last night, we had a chance to celebrate the success of another Gala supporting Virginia Repertory Theatre at our annual “wrap party.”
This year’s event took place on January 30 in the beautiful historic Jefferson Hotel and was co-chaired by power team, Anne-Marie Anderson and Laura Lee Chandler. With nearly 350 in attendance, the event proved to be a great success for Virginia Repertory Theatre.
Exceeding our expectations, the event contributed $285,000 to the non-profit organizations’ extensive educational programs that touch thousands of children and families from Virginia’s most challenged neighborhoods.
Highlights of the evening included:
● A black-tie evening with seated dinner
● Entertainment by favorite local actors
● Live and Premiere Silent Auctions with the talented Swisher Auction team
● Recognition of Bruce Miller for forty years of service as Artistic Director
Having a passion for the performing arts, and a huge admiration for the impact of this organizations’ quality programming and outreach initiatives that serve our community and beyond, are just part of what makes this a very special project for Belles & Whistles to be a part of. The team behind the scenes that we work with hand in hand to produce this fete are truly remarkable including a collection of talented artists, community philanthropists and fundraisers, volunteers, builders, designers, technicians, directors and performers. The Anything Goes Gala, is a fundraiser that we are honored to be behind.
